Since Abe’s country introduced a lockdown because of the coronavirus his life changed completely. He lost his job, the girl he liked moved somewhere else to stick out the lockdown, and his mental state is all over the place. How to cope in this new world? How can he gain perspective?

Then a girl arrives at his doorstep, introducing herself as ‘Moon’, she takes him up to her home: the Moon. From the moon, Abe views earth in a new light. What does this pandemic mean? The girl Moon shows him how he can cope and how humanity might be able to come out of this crisis stronger than ever.

The Portrait Poser

After a night out, a man passes out in the streets. When he wakes up, he finds himself transported through time in the body of his great-grandfather Cornelius over a century ago.

In a day filled with adventures, he learns a great deal about himself. Like his great-grandfather, he has to pose for a portrait. He is discouraged by the result and starts to doubt everything in his life. His encounters with the painter, a future Queen and the beggars in the city allow him to think about life, his dreams, and what matters in life.

When he checks in Hotel Fantasia he finds the other guests to behave strangely, almost child-like. What’s happening to them? When Benjamin enters his room, he enters a fantastical scene to help him find his way.

Sadie is a control freak and chronic worrier. She’s living off her to do list, without doing what she truly wants. One day she’s tired and checks in to Hotel Fantasia only to rediscover her dreams.

Battling each other with vices and virtues we follow the Gods playing a dangerous game. Through the millennia they manipulate the poor humans to do their bidding all for their own personal gain of winning.

What’s the purpose of it all? Why do the humans exist? Are they able to withstand the powerful moves made by the gods and find out the meaning of life?

The Christmas Refuge

On a fortnight before Christmas, young Alyssa sat in her room and looked at a sad little girl who recently moved to Alyssa's town. The girl and her family had fled their country and where recently housed opposite Alyssa's house, in the old school building. Alyssa decided to change her Christmas wish list and instead wish for the girl and her family across the street to have a happy Christmas.

Alyssa's brother Steve overheard his sister's wish and decided to tell his parents. Together with other kind hearted people in the community, they set out to make Alyssa's Christmas wish come true.

But not all people in the neighborhood wanted Alyssa's wish to come true and would do anything to prevent it from becoming a reality. Would the Smith family be able to pull off a Christmas miracle?

We follow Cartius on an adventure throughout all continents in his quest to find fellow Ring Bearers. He finds different cultures and interesting companions on the way. Will he find the right people to built his magical community?

The Democr App

In part 2, we continue where The System Shutdown left off  (please read Part 1 first).

Mouse87, a hacker specialized in destabilizing societies carries out the second step in his grand plan for society. He introduces the Democr App, an app with which people vote daily on societal issues. In order for everyone to keep their basic income, they are obliged to cast their votes. Will this new democratic form divide or unite the nation? 

Jonathan, a former rich man, gathers protesting former rich folk to find ways to get back to their former wealth and power. And they will stop at nothing to achieve that. What happens to the Vagabond when he meets his family after all those years? Are Megan and Bruce able to adjust to this new democratic form? Will their relationship be strong enough for their opposing views? What is the connection between the widow and Mouse87?

The System Shutdown

Mouse87, a hacker specialized in destabilizing societies carries out his masterplan for his own country. The economic system is shutdown and changed to a point in which everyone receives the same basic income. In addition, everyone’s bank account is held at the same level. Naturally, the former poor are thrilled and the former rich ill-willed. What happens to the people in this new forming society? What is Mouse87’s objective and his grander plan in introducing a new societal form?

This is part 1 in a 2 part series and it introduces us to a newly structured society, proposing more economic equality. But is that really feasible? Part two will be published half December.
